Nigeria's Covid- 19 infections now 1,095 with 208 survivors and 32 deaths,

Lagos State is still on the lead on the discovery of fresh cases of Covid- 19 disease 114 infections. It came tops in the list of states on the number of new cases of the Coronavirus pandemic according to a statement by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Friday.

The state which prides itself as the Centre of Excellence maintained its top position of the states with the dreaded COVID-19.

The NCDC figures showed that showed Lagos had 80 infections out of the 114, followed by Gombe State with 21 cases just as the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja had five new cases.

However, Zamfara and Edo States had two cases each, even as Oyo, Ogun, Kaduna and Sokoto States recorded one infection each.

This brings the number of cases in Nigeria to 1,095 as at Friday, April 24, 2020.

But out this figure, 208 were successfully treated and discharged, while 32 died.
