Breaking: Kano Government Relaxes Lockdown, Announces Free Days

The Kano State government has relaxed the lockdown of the state following the Coronavirus pandemic.


Governor Abdullahi Ganduje who made this known said Mondays and Thursdays would be lockdown-free days from 10am to 4pm, adding that markets will not be allowed to open apart from supermarkets. 


According to him, the list of such supermarkets would be announced on local radio stations.


Ganduje further stressed that only Yankaba and Yan Lemo Markets where perishable items are sold would be allowed to operate on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm.
