The National Assembly, NASS, will resume plenary from their two - week Sallah break on Thursday, May 28, 2020.
This was contained in a letter to both the Senators and members of the House of Representatives signed by the Clerk of the National Assembly, Alhaji Mohammed Sani- Omolori in Abuja Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
The NASS went on a two- week Sallah break and were to reconvene from the break on June 2, 2020.
However, the NASS is to resume plenary to consider President Muhammadu Buhari’s Appropriation (Amendment) Bill 2020.
letter dated Tuesday, May 26, 2020, asking all senators and members of the House of Representatives to resume plenary on Thursday to consider the appropriation of (Amendment) Bill, 2020 read in part, “This is to inform all distinguished senators and honourable members that resumption of plenary session earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 2nd June 2020 has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 28, 2020, to enable members to consider the Appropriation (Amendment) Bill, 2020
”All distinguished senators and honourable members are expected to resume plenary by 10.00 am on Thursday, May 28, 2020, please.”
